Class Analysis Meeting
The year 2016 is drawing to a close. So as to further understand the current learning situation& issues of students in Grade 9 of Anqing Foreign Language School and indicate specific directions for the teaching work in graduating classes, on the mornings from 20th to 23rd, December, the Section of Teaching& Discipline in the west campus convened the class analysis meeting in each graduating class. In attendance were Principal Xu Xuchang, Principal Assistant Ling Qian, Director Zhang Li, head teachers from Grade 9 as well as all disciplinary faculty.
To begin with, the analysis meeting was proceeded with each lass as a unit. All 14 classes from Grade 9 were divided into 4 sessions, during which head teachers in each class conducted detailed and comprehensive analysis reports with regard to the studying situation of their own class. Other than that, in combination with students’ scores, class advisers explained the current learning conditions in their classes, the weak performance in a number of subjects of some students, analyzed and discussed the existing problems faced by underachievers one by one.
Evidently, the analysis meeting established an exceptionable platform for all teachers in the graduating classes to communicate so that teachers can better exploit students’ potentialities. In the meantime, we profoundly felt the earnestness, dedication to work, industriousness in addition to the thoughtful kindness to students from teachers in Grade 9 of Anqing Foreign Language School.
Furthermore, Principal Assistant Ling Qian addressed the keynote speech, quote, ‘We should have students in our heart while teaching and have soul in class management. Teachers are supposed to endeavor to build a intense, well-organized and competitive learning atmosphere for graduating classes. Also, teachers should pay close attention to the physical& mental development of each student, intensify exchange with students, walk into students’ heart as well as provide them with confidence and strength to sail the ocean by themselves. In addition, teachers are supposed to manage the whole class in macro view and structurally supervise students. After seeing clearly the studying situation, teachers can instruct students in accordance of their aptitude, customize students with learning objectives and tasks to solve their problems in studies. What Principal Xu Xuchang emphasized at the meeting was that teachers should by one hundred percent have goals, develop specific proposals and make practicable plans for each student in graduating classes to genuinely realize zero error or zero abandonment’.
To conclude, on the one hand, the analysis meeting defined directions for the educational& teaching work in the 2017 graduating classes of Anqing Foreign Language School. On the other hand, it inspired the head teachers’ group in Grade 9 to make concerted effort and rise to the challenges. We firmly believe that Anqing Foreign Language School shall definitely gain innumerable great achievements in waves of fragrance upon the graduation season in 2017.
